This scholarship is for an incoming full-time student matriculated in the AA teacher education degree program with a minimum “B” average. . Established by Dr. Gary Livent, Trustee and Onondaga Community College Foundation board member, and Karen Bender, to support students pursuing a career in the field of education. The scholarship was inspired by the careers of Dr. Debbie L. Sydow, former Onondaga Community College President, and her husband Harry. The scholarship winner is chosen by Financial Aid
