The Robertson Award for Student Achievement in Writing

This is a merit award for first year students. First year students are defined as those who have earned 30 credits or less.  Students may submit a wide variety of material for consideration. These submissions could include essays and reports from their course work, as well as multi-modal communications from extracurricular projects, such as blogs, newsletters, business proposals, published news articles, etc. Submissions will be evaluated with traditional measures of effective writing, such as clarity and accuracy. The students who can relate their submissions to their career paths will have an advantage.  Winners will be selected by the Faculty Scholarship Committee. Established by Diana and Drew Robertson in 2020.
