Gifford Jump Start

This may include childcare, transportation, personal vehicle, technology repair or living expenses. Candidates must meet most or all of the following: have an immediate financial crisis, limited or no other resources available for use, be in good academic standing, and have a plan for future success in the area of financial planning. An application must be submitted to Financial Aid. This is for full or part-time students. The Jump Start committee will review applications for awarding. Established by the Gifford Charitable Foundation to provide emergency financial assistance for students from underrepresented backgrounds (primarily students of color) who are economically disadvantaged and in need of supplemental financial support.
